The Titleist 907 D2 Driver is one of the hottest drivers out in 2008. Here is a breakdown on the new Titleist driver. |
| The new 907 D2 is an advanced moment-of-inertia driver designed to provide distance with shot workability and control. The advanced traditional geometry increases the overall inertia but allows the player to dictate the shot shape and work the ball with a fade or draw if desired. The multi-material design of the 907 D2 and enhanced moment-of-inertia provide distance and solid feel, while the traditional profile, square set-up, symmetric face and improved crown shape provide for outstanding looks in the playing position for players that want and appreciate looks, feel and performance. | |

Review:
If you are a low handicapper then you should check out this solid driver from Titleist. I’ve used several different drivers (TaylorMade, Callaway, Cleveland) but I’m keep coming back to Titleist because of their consistant performance and feel. I’ve been using Titleist 905R for the past 8 months but after I tried out 907 D2 it was very easy choice. I spent about an hour on the launch monitor trying out different shaft options and I liked Aldila VS Proto best for it’s consistancy and feel. I used to drive around 255 yd with 905R but now I’m hitting at least 10 to 15 yd longer mainly due to lower spin rate. Much more forgiving than my 905R.
