A determined Woods made 14 birdies in 29 holes in the warm desert of Dove Mountain to rollover Stewart Cink for an 8-and-7 win, the greatest margin in the final match in the 10-year history of this event.
Tiger’s 63rd career victory leaped him past Arnold Palmer into 4th place alone on the PGA Tour’s career list. He will tie Ben Hogan when he reaches his 64th win.
